The journey to Miss Earth Australia 2024 has officially commenced as finalists from across the nation gathered at Bankstown Sports Club for the first day of registration and training. This year’s competition promises to be a showcase of beauty, intelligence, and a deep commitment to environmental advocacy.
The event brought together an impressive line-up of finalists, including Jessica Lane, Claudia Kuper, Jackie Marin, Cleo Kanyarat Panprakhon, Fatima Rodriguez, Isabella Rositano, Emilia Scott-Hopkins, Katelyn Storey, Keisha Ann Nicole Tungol, Sarah Tute, and Sofia Valdez. The day’s activities also included the highly anticipated StarCentral Magazine Challenge, where the finalists were put to the test by posing for a professional photoshoot. Mike Ilagan, the MD of StarCentral Magazine, directed the challenge. Photographers Bob Reyes and Dave Choo expertly captured the essence of each finalist, while Marlon Quijano documented the day’s events through video, adding a dynamic visual narrative to the competition.
Following the day’s activities, the finalists were treated to a welcome party and dinner at La Piazza, a renowned venue known for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional cuisine. The event, sponsored by Miss Earth Australia, was attended by key figures in the organisation, including Miss Earth Australia National Director, Miss Julieta De Leon, who welcomed the finalists and encouraged them to stay focused on their environmental advocacies as they progress in the competition.
Also present were Stargazer Productions board members Vicky Chew and Mel Bustamante, who have played a significant role in supporting the Miss Earth Australia pageant and its mission to empower young women to become leaders in environmental advocacy.
As the journey to Miss Earth Australia 2024 continues, these finalists will undergo further training, participate in public appearances, and engage in advocacy work, all leading up to the grand finale, where one of them will be crowned Miss Earth Australia 2024.
