Selina McCloskey was officially crowned Miss International Australia 2024 during a grand ceremony held on Saturday, July 13, at Sir Stamford Circular Quay in Sydney. The 23-year-old model from Eleebana, New South Wales, takes over the prestigious title from last year’s winner, Jazel Alarca.
Selina represented Australia at the Miss International 2024 competition earlier this month in Tokyo, Japan. There, she shone brightly among 71 contestants from around the globe. She secured an impressive spot in the Top 20 and earned accolades for her exceptional performance on the international stage.

Selina holds degrees in Business, innovation, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Newcastle, showcasing her commitment to academic and professional excellence.
No stranger to the pageant world, she has steadily built an impressive résumé. In 2022, Selina placed third runner-up at Miss World Australia, followed by another third-runner-up finish at Miss Grand Australia 2023. Her remarkable accomplishments culminated in representing Australia at one of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageants.
