Netflix recently released the first trailer for its new comedy series Dear White People and a number of people are reportedly already cancelling their accounts.
Dear White People stars Tessa Thompson from Westworld and it will consist of 10 episodes – the series has yet to be given a release date. The actual plot based on the trailer is quite vague but here’s the synopsis according to Netflix: “Based on the acclaimed indie film, the series satirises “post-racial” America as students of colour navigate a predominantly white Ivy League college.”
