The global pop sensation Taylor Swift set Melbourne ablaze with the biggest concert of her illustrious career during the opening night of her highly anticipated Eras Tour at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) last Friday.
Swift’s electrifying performance kicked off with the iconic opening number, “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince,” from her seventh studio album, Lover. The MCG, packed with 96,000 enthusiastic fans, erupted into a sea of excitement as the megastar took center stage.
The demand for tickets was nothing short of extraordinary, with millions of fans scrambling online when tickets went on sale last June. The seven Australian shows, including the three sold-out concerts in Melbourne and four more at Sydney’s Accor Stadium, have become some of the hottest tickets of the year.
