Elon Musk Started Selling Red Short Shorts And It Crashed The Tesla Website

Looks like Tesla CEO Elon Musk can take up a career in fashion as a fallback when he gets bored of Tesla. He recently announced via Twitter that Tesla was selling limited-edition branded red satin short shorts and the result was totally unexpected.

The price of the short shorts was listed as $69.420 and it had the word “S3XY” written on the back, which is a reference to Tesla’s Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y vehicles.

The description of the short shorts on Tesla’s website said: “Celebrate summer with Tesla Short Shorts. Run like the wind or entertain like Liberace with our red satin and gold trim design.

“Relax poolside or lounge indoors year-round with our limited-edition Tesla Short Shorts, featuring our signature Tesla logo in front with “S3XY” across the back. Enjoy exceptional comfort from the closing bell.”

Musk started tweeting about releasing the red satin short-shorts after Tesla’s Q2 recent report beat Wall Street’s expectations, pushing its stock up by 10 percent.
