Briana Jackson is a 28-year-old fashionista who hails from Las Vegas. Briana Jackson may be this month’s fashionista but she is way more than just that. Jackson has a bachelor degree in fine arts majoring in fashion merchandising – which explains her passion for fashion. Before making her career to what it is today, Jackson remembers always having a passion for fashion but it wasn’t until she had her first retail job, that she really started to appreciate fashion visually. Jackson always loved seeing what was put on to the mannequins at different stores but when she started doing it on her own, it became such an adventure trying to tell a story. Jackson wanted to make people stop and want to look at her outfits and love it enough that they’d want to buy it because she put it together.

Jackson always helped her friends with picking clothes out, but she was really inspired by June Ambrose (who is a fashion stylist). Jackson loves the fact that fashion is always changing and evolving. Fashion now isn’t the same as it was two years ago, Jackson shares, but yet we can recreate an era that can still have its own modern day twist. And that’s what Jackson loves about fashion.

Her most memorable moment was being able to personally style a high profile celebrity wife. Jackson remembers one day looking in a magazine and looking at the latest fashion trends on the red carpet and she happened to catch the very celebrity that she helped pick out clothes for.

Jackson is constantly getting inspired by fellow bloggers on the internet, but especially her family who are constantly supporting her every day. She is planning to eventually find clients because she wants to get into the world of being a celebrity stylist. She would love to have her own clothing store located in New York and Los Angeles as well online.

The combination of a very supportive family and her ambition, drive, talent and abundance of enthusiasm and passion, will surely see Briana Jackson succeed in her every endeavor.

My dose of color “cork” matte lipstick

2. What is the most dramatic thing you’ve ever done to change your looks?

I used to colour and add colourful pieces to my hair

3. What is in your makeup bag when you travel?

Concealer, blush, matte lipstick and eyebrow pencil

4. What is the one “flaw” you wouldn’t change about yourself?

I guess depending on who you ask but I’d say being a hopeless romantic. I think it’s a flaw in this generation. But then again I wouldn’t change myself because love is still something I believe is out there.
