Israel’s “The Legacy” album launch review

Exhilarating … Entrancing … Mind-blowing …

Now these are just some of the words we can muster to describe Israel’s recent album launch. Needless to say, StarCentral Magazine was very impressed with the outcome of the event.

It was an electrifying night at Fox Studios last Friday night and Israel’s album launch was the flavour. Israel is a brilliant producer and writer and is also one of the most sought after R&B/pop artists down under. You know an artist has finally “made it” when he’s collaborating with some of Australia’s most talented artists such as Jessica Mauboy, Rikki Lee and Jade Macrae. Since the word on the streets is that Israel is one of Australia’s finest urban producers, we pretty much expected a spectacular show – and we were not disappointed.

The front acts were mind-blowing to say the least. The first performer who went by the name of Sammy Taylor was not just drop dead gorgeous, she was also incredibly talented. Her soothing and powerful voice definitely captivated and mesmerized the crowd. The second act was a two man group called DOME (Diplomats of Music Electronics). This group had a unique hip hop style – they somehow managed to combine the synthesized complexity of electronica with the raw edge of rock, it was a raw and fresh style that has never before seen which is why they also brought the house down. The last performance before the headline act came in a form of a slick and striking rapper called Mirrah. If you haven’t heard of her name before, she was actually second runner up at UPN’s “R U The Girl” reality show with TLC’s T-Boz and Chili. Mirrah had a tremendous stage presence, a unique taste in outfit and an impressive rap lyrical skill. I must say that her eerie resemblance to the former TLC member “Left eye” was indeed uncanny.

After to listening to some of the best lip-smacking appetizers, it was then time to get a taste of the main course. Israel was the main course – and everyone was eager to get their ears full with his very own infectious brand of R&B pop.

The moment Israel stepped onto the stage; the female screams became so bloodcurdling that it became ear-numbing. With his slight physique and baby face, it’s hard to imagine seeing him as a clear contender for pinup status. However, since his debut album release back in 2004, he has somehow discovered how to project a sex-symbol image to the female audience.

Now let me just quickly summarize what transpired at the Fox studios last Friday night:

Israel came. Israel sang. And Israel conquered.

Israel’s opening song was “perfect girl,” and what can we say – it was perfect.

Besides singing “perfect girl,” Israel also sang his other songs such as “hold on me,” and “blow my mind,” and had various duets such as “my room'” with Samir, “Gemini” with Fabulous, “do it again” with Krooked Kounty, “anywhere” with Nate Wade and “weekend” with DOME. Israel also had a duet with rising stars “Suede” and the “Nufirm” dancers – Israel’s hot, backup posse also spiced up the stage with their polished, sexy and steamy dance moves.

Of course, it was only fitting that he ended the night with his first single off the album – “Freak Tonight.” The crowd roared its approval as the song was performed by Israel since this track has been a hit in the radio waves due to its catchy and infections nature.

Bottom line: The show was an unbelievable and incredible experience.

This night was one of the most exciting nights at the venue we have ever had. We’d like to give a quick shout out and thank you to Dj Tekkaman and Dj EKO for inviting StarCentral to the album launch, it was certainly a great way to end a Friday night.

  1. You think you can intimidate me with your literacy think again fool. FYI … im not a male you wanker and secondly you need to move on tel aviv ….palestine is gonna bomb ur ass. Only person still interested in this patheitc forum is the man himself YOU. My incoherent trash shits on your ugly face. Your dirty and need to be deported at once. hahahahhha fooooooooooool.

  2. wow, how clever of you to deduce that tel aviv and israel are correlated! bravo for you! i underestimated you for a second there “kissmyass”, i mean, i really thought your ignorant self would not know of such things but yet you’ve surprised me with this amazing sleuth work! outstanding! again, i commend you on such word association skills. i am just speechless right now. your mind does work occasionally when it’s not telling your limp wristed hand (probably from masturbating to israel’s pictures far too much as evidence of your constant need to be on this post 24/7) to type incoherent trash that makes my head bleed.

unfortunately i am not israel nor would i ever want to be as i am already…A RAPPING PRIMA BALLERINA! how’s that for originality?! seriously, i’m going to have all the guys, i mean hoes all up on my grill, son! imma be bigger than israel…YA HEARD!!!!!! israel will bow his ass down to me!

p.s. i’m really touched you cared to capitalize your sentences and construct them properly after i called you out on it, like, can you say, WOW! and you spelt such a big word for you like “egotistical” properly too!

stop it, you’re giving me a boner.

  3. like the name says @TEL AVIV…. KISS MY ASS. Iz you fool you gave urelf away yet again, couldnt think of another name so isreal = country. tel aviv =city hahahahah your pathetic. Only thing im suffering is reading your insignificant comments. Move on white boy b4 you embarass yourself more than you already have. You egotistical clown. Must have too much free time on your hands. Ima watching you IZ like the CIA hahahahahahah.

  4. damn, look at this illiterate fool above! LMAO dude, did you write all that incoherent ebonic shit whilst suffering an epileptic attack? hahahaha

anyways, my two cents and you bitches will take it. israel is pretty subpar as an artist. no wow factor for me but yeh, only “aiiiiiight”. i gotta say that freak tonight song is quite alright though. dang, thought that ish was by t-pain!

  5. Isreal has left the building………………pssssssssssssst anyone……………………soon as Iz stopped commenting everyone did 2………..straaaaaaaaaaaaaaange huh?? this dude got multiple ppl’s living in his head yup………………..like Ian/Ryz/Sara etc………………oooooooooooooooooweeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…………..ARROGANT alright read on…………………..”And no Ryz is not Iz. Ryz is Ryz… I got no problem with publicly stating how I feel and don’t give a shit if I offend anyone coz I ain’t losing sleep over any of this. So best believe its me writing this shit” …………..an shit it is………..always contradicting urselve hahhahahahah ………………….

  6. YO IZ, if this is petty then why you wasting ur time commenting back and forth. Aint gettin any hahahahahahahah LOSER

  7. Well FYI I went to a show not long ago and it was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed every moment of every song and performer and yes it was over 2 hours long. So be kind enough not to generalise nor judge other artists thanks very much. 90% you state have not performed longer than 15 mins, do your homework and get the facts right. You obviously enjoy talking yourself up. Thats absurd to even make such derogatory assumptions re other artists ability’s. I had some slight interest in your music but after reading these comments i clearly choose not to bother. I support australian talent and artists but arrogance is highly unacceptable.

  8. HAHAHAHAHA knew it!!!! Your so f….g predictable Yo Izzy….knew you would check back and comment.. You claim your friends with fabolous and Will I Am etc (which im sure you paid a shitload to to get a sound out on your tracks for) and know sooooo much about their lives well your dilusional man. They got no time for this net bs like yourself checking back to see who’s commented. You foolin urself and no one else. We untalented NOBODY’S as some fool commented above have a lot of time but YOU your a joke. Leave this thread and make your music, music hero. And Ryz supposedly not you must have plenty of time at WORK to keep a track also. What clowns this is highly entertaining so yeh keep em coming. Yo check the long comments Isreal leaves as apposed to others comments Way too much time dude, get a hobby . hahahaha

  9. For the record Suzy… i do recall Israel working at Wollies when he was younger .. (sorry dude had to say it haha)
So i’m sure he aint bagging you!

  10. Yo.

First off I would like to address Suzy- I didnt ever say I had anything against working at Woolies and apologize if i offended you. If you read the last comment i said about Woolworths i said (there aint anything wrong with it.) My point was plainly that everybody seems to have such a professional opinion about what it is I do but I dont go to others work places and tell them how to do what they do because I don’t know what it takes to work in their workplaces, and I would never comment about itespecially on forums. Its pretty ridiculous to me, and you being offended about my comment should show you how it feels to be a very hard-working artist and producer that does what he is not ashamed to do but constantly gets hatred unnecessarily. I hope you can appreciate it coz it is only a taste of what I have to deal with. Suzy Remember pls that this whole thread filled with stupid comments is addressed at me not you.

For real this has just turned into a very stupid thread and the amount of immaturity here disgusts me. If people were to give very dignified responses instead of just plain hatred it would be worth my time.

As for Kissmyass- How the hell would you know what a REAL ARTIST does? Are you an artist? So all these artists who are friends of mine such as Fabolous and Will I am are too busy to write on Twitter, or pick up the phone, or watch TV, or jump on facebook?? You got it wrong bro. These guys are on the net all the time. I talk to these guys on facebook. Isn’t that the same thing as writing on this blog? You have a very delusional view of what an artist does- we are all people that actually have lives too. NOBODY in this world is too busy to do what everyone else naturally does. Dude you seriously have no clue about me- Charity events? I’m doing a charity event that goes for 1 month with the RSPCA- they arent paying me a cent for it, I do events to get youth off the streets coz this is the life I lived growing up in Melbourne. So since you have no idea about what you are saying about me please kissmyass.

And no Ryz is not Iz. Ryz is Ryz… I got no problem with publicly stating how I feel and don’t give a shit if I offend anyone coz I ain’t losing sleep over any of this. So best believe its me writing this shit.

Guys seriously why don’t ya’ll just go back to living your lives this is the most petty thing I have ever come across.

As I said- I will continue to make music for those who appreciate it and if you don’t then that is fine. I am seriously not concerned with your lack of support. I really don’t care about it.

But I DO care about those who like what it is that I do. This is the last that I will comment here so guys don’t need to address me anymore.

For the record- I did NOT pay for this review, and I do NOT pay anyone to say positive things about me or my music. All the comments here are that of free will by each individual.

Think about this- If we could all support each other- I am sure all the artists out there that are trying to do something with their careers would benefit from it.

Until then, we will not have an RnB/Hiphop industry in Australia.

    Peace ya’ll.

  11. as 50 cent and kanye west have both said “If they hate let them hate and watch the money pile up”

  12. Hahahaha… you fukn retard… kissmyass … you’re one classic dude!

I hope the crew is having a good laugh at this coz im cracking up at work!!

  13. kissmyass- whats makes you think ryz is israel? obviously ur just a hater and got no life coming in here commenting, bet you couldnt do better if u tried

  14. I thought the show was really good, very entertaining! I love the music and will definatly go to more of his shows

  15. HAHAHAHAH RYZ AKA ISREAL. JUST GAVE IT AWAY DUDE….THATS DOPE. KNEW YOU WOULD SLIP AT SOME STAGE. ARE YOU GETTIN ANY SLEEP??? CAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE YOUR MONITERING THIS PAGE LIKE A LIFELINE. HAHAHHA I WAS RIGHT BOUT THE SELF CENTERED BIT. GO OUT AND GET SOME AIR B4 YOU DECOMPOSE.

  16. The show was great, it was my first time seeing him perform and i thought he was a great performer. I don’t understand why people hatin’ on israel? he’s a great producer, very talented indeed. Also, people should know that a massive entertainment company in Korea such as YG bought the rights to his song “My Girl” which was sung by Big Bang and was a massive hit in Korea. Show the guy some respect, he’s obviously talented in what he does, Or at least he’s doing his thing and tryna make it out there,. Purely my opinion.

  17. I have no idea why people would write all these hate comments in here about someone who is just doing what he loves to do.. and is damn good at it! i guess it all comes down to envy… True?!!

I mean come on…. its not like we have a budget like the artists have in the states so we are limited to what we can do/accomplish, but being a part of the crew, i think we’re doing just fine… considering we are not signed (yet) and have normal everyday jobs!.

And to all the haters out there… Keep em coming coz it makes us all feel better that we have people talking about us…

You’re nobody unless somebody talks about you!

  18. Shut the f…. up yall and get off your high horses and stop defending this so called ARTIST….who seems to have nothing better to do than check his review every day and gets his friends to comment praising his ass. No MAJOR artist would have the time with their busy schedule but this one although busy making music (cough) logs on to read and update his ego. Fool real artist barely have a min to themselves let alone bitching on a review page. Dont be self centered and been around for 9 years you say bout time you retired, should have millions by now. Ever done any charity events guess not!!

  19. suzy sounds like she is a bit racist! ISrael dont stop making music, cause haters will never stop hating just keep doing what your doing!

  20. i dont know what that eric guy is talking about i was at the launch and it was great! loved the show, and id love to see the people on here saying it wasnt great do better, id like to see if they release an album at all, but i went and enjoyed it had a great night

  21. In all fairness this was more of a concert than a lauch and there seems to be a communication prob here. Was good show and the acts were good. Dont bag each other out just leave your comment and leave it at that. Dont go back and forth such a waste of time I think. I agree with the guy about having great underground artists here. There are some amazing artists/rappers/producers but we always seem to lose the good ones to the USA. Shame but thats the way it is. Good luck to everyone I say. Iz no need to publically advertise your bank balance and am rather offended at the statement you made to the guy about working at woolies. I work there and often till midnight and have no shame admitting it. Not everyone has the ability to make money as others do everyone’s life and destiny is different. Least im not living off centrelink. Im sure you started at the bottom and was once a nobody .That comment truly proved that you are in fact ARROGANT. You should think hard before commenting again as I am sure you offended many. Been around for 9 years aye? and still trying make it big. lol. What a joke. Go back to your country and live off your ppl’s money.

  22. Dude Eric, im still waiting for your album to drop, or your panties, whatever it is that you do. Look no matter how negative your opinion is the FACT of the matter is you still paid for the show and the show still was off the chain. yes you are entitled to your opinion, i just think that you should be a little bit more classy.

It’s haters like you that keep entertainers famous. So on Behalf of NUFIRM and all talented people every where, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HATE AND SUPPORT!!!

i leave you with this: ” All the time and energy that you spend hating should be used to improve yourself….”

  23. Eric Nol says on June 16th, 2009 at 12:02 am

I can’t beleive such an exilirating, Mind blow-ass performer/artist would actually take the time to look at this website and actually comment back. hahaha did i hurt your feelings Israel. Money talks.

    Lol.

Nah no feelings hurt here whatsoever Eric. Yeah, i do take the time to comment back- thats coz i aint an “arrogant” prick that is too good to write back on forums and sites like these, I’m a real person. But its clear thats what you want- to hurt my feelings. If it makes you feel like more of a man then go ahead and imagine me crawling into a ball and crying in the corner over your comments. But this aint the first time people have tried and failed to slaughter me on public forums.

Lol And money talks? Ive been getting paid for the last 9 years off making music professionally. What do you do that proves you are such a professional here? Work at Woolworths? Do you See me getting on the Woolies site and jumping on the forum and criticizing you- telling you how to pack shelves properly? No. (not that theres anything wrong with woolies) Lol

Jess- as for arrogant… Don’t confuse arrogance with confidence. Arrogance is another form of insecurity. I am not insecureConfidence is the opposite of insecurity. Completely different things.

Why is it that people in Australia get surprised when there is someone that actually walks on stage and treats it professionally? Because we are so used to seeing guys that look like they’ve never even had sex or even had a girlfriend jump on stage and claim they are an “artist”. We are so used to mediocrity that we prefer it now. Half the artists I know dont know what to do with a band, or with a dj, or with dancers. Half of the artists I work with wouldn’t know what to do with a show like that. And about 90% around here have never even performed a show longer than 15 minutes.

Truelly people- you show me how you guys would do a show and I will take all your criticism for what it is. Until then all these words are like the wind to me. Coz I can’t imagine what you guys would do if you were given a mic and were put on stage.

If you don’t like my music, then don’t. Fine. If you never want to come to an Israel show again, then I’d be glad if you don’t. Stay at home! Just don’t sit here and write up on this forum acting like you know everything about the music industry when you don’t work in it professionally, and never will.

All the people that enjoyed the show- MUCH LOVE TO YOU AND I WILL CONTINUE MAKING MUSIC FOR YOU GUYS AND LEAVE THE REST BEHIND!

THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HAVE COMMENTED IN A POSITIVE MANNER- THIS IS WHAT WE NEED TO BUILD THIS SCENE UP, IF YOU EVER WANT AUSTRALIA TO HAVE AN RNB SCENE.

  24. Agree with Clement. There are some great underground artists around but just haven’t been that exposed to the industry. So don’t go around saying that Australia has no talent when it comes to Music. So just support local acts.

  25. “As far as our local talent goes this industry has the shittest singers and rappers all trying to be like overseas artists.Too many wanna bees”. This qoute from jess is what Australians think of their own musicians and the reason the Australian music industry has no support. The Australain music industry will never get bigger unless there is more support of local talent!!! so hi haters since you think local talent is so whack, get a talent and change that.

  26. I can’t beleive such an exilirating, Mind blow-ass performer/artist would actually take the time to look at this website and actually comment back. hahaha did i hurt your feelings Israel. Money talks.

  27. @Jess

Then say what you want, luv! Noone’s stopping you! You sound like such a bad ass girl with your words! Which in fact, really turns me on. As does your “grammer”. What’s your a/s/l, babygirl?

p.s. my grammar IS PHD worthy thank you very much.

  28. @Nick and Ian

I will say what I think and dont give a damn what anyone thinks here. Nick is clearly a LOSER himself for being so defensive of this so called MAJOR ARTIST!!! If thats the case where’s his platinum record then??? Exactly!!! John Farnham is considered major, even Kahmal has several displayed all over his house and nick do you have a degree in ANYTHING?? moron critisizing my comprehension. Like your grammer is phd worthy. The pair of you are pathetic. Patronizing me does not effect nor change my opinion. Get a clue.

  29. Hey ppl’s can everyone stop this nonesence and address more important issues that are corrupting and destroying our planet such as the war in Iraq, global warming, terrorism etc etc and stop wasting energy on a forum as such. Its shameful to see mankind being so disrespecful and hurtful towards each other, no wonder the world is a mess. State your opinion but stop targetting each other with hateful comments. Disgraceful to say the least.
This is a review not Jerry Springer’s forum.

  30. To miss devine, who the hell are you to correct the words used to describe a show?? Who are you to call other people clueless? Are you a super smart journalist or something?? Sorreee your devine-ness! We bow at the greatness of your wit and grammar! I just hate people that are so up themselves. I’m not even that big of a fan of Israel, I just don’t like people who think they’re super smart and all that. And what if I don’t like Beyonce?? WHy then would I use a word like exhilarating to describe her show? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, you don’t go around calling other people clueless when you are quite clueless yourself.

  31. ok.. you guys have expressed how you feel then thats fine. jess, ians right.. arrogant how can you say a person is arrogant by the way he looks.. have any of you actually come across and talk to israel yourself? to make you say that his arrogant… dont judge people if you dont have facts that he is.. i can easily say jess is a bitch!! but i wont i dont even know you to say that!!! am i right..? so watch your words carefully..

  32. @Jess

For your information Jess, I’m not one of Israel’s people. If I was, I’d be all up on his dick saying stuff like, “OMG Israel was the bomb diggity last Friday night!!!!!! Why can’t I be like his sexy ass? ISRAEL’S THE MAN!!!” Did you see me write any over the top glowing reviews like that? No. So stop being presumptuous. I said I could tolerate the guy and he’s one of the few Aussie hiphop artists I don’t particularly cringe at watching. It doesn’t mean I’m a fanboy who’d be in the front row seat at all his concerts, so chill. And I didn’t say I didn’t like your comment. If you bothered to read my comment properly, you’d see that I stated that you and Eric Nol have your opinions that you didn’t enjoy the event and we all have our differing ones, so just let it be! Please polish up on your comprehension skills because you’re just embarassing yourself sweetheart.

I would have to agree with you though that he does seem to be on the arrogant side, so Israel mate, maybe tone down all that attitude a bit coz noone likes an arrogant artist. But Jess, noone’s forcing you to be a fan of Israel’s here. If you don’t like him then that’s fine! We’re all entitled to our own opinions.

  33. Ian im sure you would be as much of a hater as the others if you weren’t one of Isreal’s ppl writing that comment. Back off we are not hating just stating…..this is a public forum for all to express their opinions. If you dont like it….lump it and deal with the fact that not everyone has to be a fan of his. As far as our local talent goes this industry has the shittest singers and rappers all trying to be like overseas artists.Too many wanna bees. He spends a shitload to get his songs clips on air and thats a fact. As the saying goes money talks. I have seen him around and he seems arrogant and I would never go to another gig. End of story and proud to have a voice!!!!!!

  34. Seriously people don’t be surprised if you see hater comments written about a particular artist – it’s unavoidable. People are always gonna talk smack and will always have negative opinions to dish out, it’s just how life is. Humans are critical creatures. If that’s how Eric and Jess felt about the event, then so be it! That’s their opinion and you all have yours. I think Israel should know by now how criticism and being in the industry goes hand in hand…you can’t please everyone! I hope such comments drives him to do better in his next event though and keep on persisting to make it bigger as an artist, as it’d be a shame if he just gave up without realising his full potential.

Israel’s probably one of the very few local talents I can tolerate and don’t particularly cringe at watching and I cringe AT A LOT I’ve seen in local events, etc. Well, Aussie hiphop artists in general. lol His songs COULD use a bit more creativity but generally he’s got chill tracks that are fairly good for easy listening. Keep your head up mate.

@ Eric Nol – What’d you say in your last comment? I doubt they’d censor you. I’ve seen heaps of hater comments thrown around everywhere in this site.

  35. BTW: the only time to use the words Exhilarating … Entrancing … Mind-blowing is when you review a Beyonce concert. You ppl are truly clueless and yes Jay this review would of cost big $$$ for print i agree and yes media does over exaggerate to the max. Nick you must be a loser for taking it so personal. Or are you gettin paid to put in your 2 cents worth also hahahahaha. ;p

  36. Hey im launching a new line of lingerie anyone interested hit me back!!!
Buy one get one free for limited time only!

  37. Hey agree with PR on the above. I love Intelkz he is awesome, but i didnt go to the launch . And as far as Isreal is concerned, this dude has been around for 6-7 years working his ass off to get somewhere. Some make it with a first album and others need longer and have to work harder depending on their style and skills so who cares. PR sounds like your promoting yourself here. Taking advantage of the situation lmao 🙂 sweet.

  38. BTW:

who ever reviewed this event left out the performance from:

    Intalekz & Mr Mez!!!!!

The first track they performed was HOT!!

  39. I cant belive you ppl have nothing better to do than waste time on a petty review jeeeeeees louise. each to his own i reckon, every performer has his own fans and followers and appeal to certain individuals. agree to disagree but thats life. i dont dig this r n b music much anyways . good luck to all. make love not war!!!!!

  40. Awesome Show!! I really enjoyed D.O.M.E, Mirrah & Israels Sets!

Favourite Track performed live on the night would have to of been Israel doing Anywhere!! haha Israel will know why! but apart from that I loved it live!!

Downside of the night was the crowd in my opinion! A lot of them were clueless and didn’t show much support! Zombies in my opinion! I felt like me and my people were the only ones getting into it, and a couple others.

Till next time! Cant wait for Iz’s next performance.

Check my myspace out! Ive worked with Israel on some music! I produced the beat for “My Lady feat. Mirrah & Stan Bravo” which is on my page! and I co produced the beat for “Anywhere” & “When We Make Love” with Israel on the Legacy! now u know why I enjoyed Anywhere a bit more then the others haha 😉

  41. i actually went to the concert with a friend, and it was the first time i’ve ever seen him perform live and i absolutely loved it! to all the haters why bag on someone if you can’t back it up with anything constructive? what was so bad about his concert that you would of done differently? huh? yeah that’s what i thought! at the end of the day at least he’s persuing his dreams and aspirations and you can’t even begin to imagine how hard it is to in the R&B industry in Aust! and Jess – Freak tonight isn’t one of my favourite songs either but it definately isn’t a rip off of chris browns forever, maybe israel used a similar program when producing that beat or something… there are plenty more artists out there who use other ppls beats for songs or remake songs! i just don’t get all this un-neccessary hate!

  42. Yeah as Jay said Why is everyone Arguing? Who really cares its only Eric Nol and Jess Lambworth’s opinion anyway? Lol. Losers

  43. Calm down peoples. Hate runs so deep in these parts Lol.Thank you to all that came and supported it and if you enjoyed it that makes me glad. If not, then we did try to make the show a great one and we apologize if it did not meet your standards. Next time you guys have a show I will be sure to come and check out what you guys do and make sure I can learn a thing or two from you on how to put on a show, get some tips, maybe sign up for some workshops… maybe get a couple pointers… since everyone is such a pro here.

Much love to all that truelly support.

    Iz

  44. Why is everyone arguing? who really cares its only Israel? lol this review was probably paid coz media is 99% Bull****

  45. LISTEN Jess. Like you said, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. So you’re not blown away – WELL I WAS and that’s my opinion. What, I’m not entitled to respond to a comment I feel is wrong?? To say that the review is overated is DUMB. Because that’s their review, what if they only saw Israel for the first time and they loved what they saw? Have you ever thought about that? or what if they just loved the show itself and the supporting acts? Bottom-line I’m entitled to my opinion, they’re entitled to their opinion and you’re entitled to your opinion. We’re all just keeping it real.

  46. Listen Sara, first of all everyone is entitled to their own opinion and second, this is a public post, third you only embarrassed yourself by responding to the guys post by using such disgusting language. I also attended and was not blown away by his performance nor the event in general. It was average in comparison to other performers. However I did enjoy some of the supporting acts such as Mirrah and Dome. This review is ridiculously overated as Eric stated so deal with the reality This guy has been around and each comeback is short lived. As far as i’m concerned we need fresh talent and versatile musicians and performers who keep the audience entertained and not songs that sound so similar to other songs written and sung by other artists, eg: Isreal’s song “Freak Tonight” is a total rip off of Chris Browns song “Forever”. So much for originality. Keep it real. Peace.
    Rating 4/10

  47. Who’s this Eric Nol guy? If you hated the show that is your opinion! I personally loved the show so I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about! If you have nothing better to say than to bag other people then I suggest that you shut your trap! Or go to the toilet and spend some quality time with your left hand.

  48. I Cannot believe this overrated review, Amazing? Mind-Blowing? first of all its Israel, you can not express the terms Amazing and Mind-Blowing towards a most shocking evening of my life. There was no talent, Talent occurs when you actually produce and write your OWN music and not try to sing other artists hits. Terrible review, Terrible show, you should be ashamed.
    Eric

  49. Very Proud of Israel, he had a great live performance.

All the Best. It was great to be surrounded by other talented Australian Artists. Blessings to all and Mad Respect!!

It’s wonderful to see a magazine supporting Australian and International artists such as myself. Feeling appreciated is wonderful and not taken lightly.

Thank you Star Central Magazine for your supportive words towards my performance and career.
