Crunch Fitness is officially supporting Pacific International Runway this year, and it’s co-owned by power couple, Selena Short and Lusiano Afeaki who also happens to be the owners of gyms such as Hard Candy Fitness (formerly V Club) and Crunch Fitness fame. The husband and wife tandem also co-own NeV Australia and are responsible for bringing the UFC Gym® Down Under. These incredible entrepreneurs not only built an empire of fitness but also created a lifestyle of health.
The dedication to investing in such an industry has given them an opportunity to give back to the community. Pacific International Runway (PIR) is fortunate to be working alongside Crunch Fitness this year. PIR is all about providing an opportunity for designers of the Pacific to showcase their talents by creating a platform that can step into the mainstream market and Crunch Fitness couldn’t agree more.
Crunch started modestly as one small gym in a humble basement studio in New York City’s East Village in 1989 as a welcoming place for a diverse group of people to get fit. The fitness power couple Selena and Lusiano have taken the fitness & health world to a whole new level both here in Sydney and Melbourne. While they believe in the power of fitness to improve lives, they also know exercise is hard work, and everyone can use a little more motivation. So they’ve fused fitness and entertainment so that they can make serious exercise fun.
Pacific International Runway Director Failepou Peni and CEO Selena Short share a common ground interest, and it is their love for Jesus Christ. PIR is honored to have “Crunch Fitness” Gym as a major sponsor along with PTI Australia and Sensor Security.
The Pacific International Runway show 2017 boasts the finest designers from across the Pacific Region, along with local and interstate designers who will be releasing their latest collection. Designers who have showcased in Milan, New York, and London, VIP guests, various media representatives and the general public will get to experience a glittering evening of fashion, encompassing couture, ready to wear, swimwear, resort-wear and ethical designs. This annual event is a first of its kind in Australia. It’s going to be a red carpet affair at the most elaborate and elegant venue none other than the Star Event Centre – a $100 million multi-purpose venue.
