1. Exercise

This is a word that most of us dread or ignore most of the time. As much as you want to ignore this word, unfortunately, exercise is critical when it comes to losing weight. You can’t expect for pounds to magically drop off if all you do all day is lie on your bed, drink water and hope for the best. Jog around the block, or join the gym. Sports are actually a great way to lose weight because once you’re in the middle of a game, you forget that you’re exercising and just end up going with the flow. Or for those that really couldn’t be bothered with sports or exercise, try playing a Wii game such as boxing or tennis. I bet you that you’ll be shedding pounds in no time and you don’t even know it!

2. Don’t be too hard on yourself

Make sure you have a splurge day at least once a week. If you find that you’re hating the diet you’re currently under, try something different – otherwise, you’ll end up falling to the trap of rebound overeating. You are even allowed to eat the occasional Toblerone or Mars bar, just make sure you eat in moderation.

3. Always drink Water

And make sure you keep drinking whilst you’re eating because it makes you full straight away and therefore makes you eat less.

4. Try and eat at least 4-5 mini-meals a day

Eating a nice healthy breakfast is always a good thing because it keeps you from going on a warpath and eating everything else in sight afterward. Skipping meals is definitely not the way to go because it’ll just make you crave more food. Instead, have around 4-5 mini-meals as opposed to 3 massive meals. As long as you eat several healthy mini-meals, your body won’t scream for any attention.
