Pacific International Runway, Australia’s leading platform for multicultural fashion is bringing the runway this year to the elite and prestigious “Manor on Elizabeth” in Wetherill Park on the 16th of November 2019. It has once again secured partnerships with representatives from Samoa, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands, Solomon Islands, and Tonga continuing the event to an international scale.
The Pacific International Runway has grown exponentially since its inaugural event back in 2015, with the involvement of more than 26 established and emerging designers. An evening of fashion, splash of the Pacific to the multiculturalism in Australia brings an extraordinary creativity to Manor on Elizabeth to a jaw-dropping halt with a sensational line-up of top designers from the Pacific region including Hupfeld Hoerder Designs from Fiji, Soafai’s Creation from Samoa, Niugini Native By Wandid Amini Korimbo from Papa New Guinea, and Public Island from Tonga/Sydney just to name a few. To date, PIR has a former heavyweight boxer, the TUA MAN himself, David Tua traveling all the way from New Zealand. He will be gracing the Pacific International Runway and launching for the very first time his sportswear and evening wear collection.
Pacific International Runway will feature local emerging and established designers, models, and a host of international designers. VIP guests, media, and celebrities will be treated to a glitz and glamorous night of fashion, showcasing an array of couture in ready-to-wear, resort wear, evening wear, and ethnic designs. Being the biggest island in the Pacific, Australia is the primary leader and vital catalyst for the Pacific’s progress in the fashion industry. Pacific International Runway is also a big supporter of diversity in the modeling industry as it’s one of the few fashion events in Australia that truly represents the faces of multiculturalism by featuring models from all races, not just the Pacific.
