Marc Nelson and Christi McGarry are set to explore Mexico’s stunning waters, scenic landscapes, and mouthwatering cuisine in a two-part special of the travel show “Beached,” airing on June 29 (Sunday) at 8 pm on Metro Channel.
Their exhilarating adventure takes place on the Baja California peninsula, known for its beautiful beaches, lush forests, and expansive deserts.
In the “Beached” teaser released by Metro Channel, Christi describes their current stop as having “diverse geography, captivating shorelines, and pristine turquoise waters.”
In the first part of the Mexico special, the hosts encounter grey whales, try night paddle boarding, embark on a mountain bike ride, explore Mexican cuisine, and enjoy many other exciting activities.
According to Marc, Baja California is a paradise for beach enthusiasts. “For a beach and ocean lover, this place has it all. Freediving, kiteboarding, scuba diving, paddle boarding, and so much more,” he said.
In the second episode of “Beached: Mexico,” Marc and Christi swim with whale sharks, the largest fish in the world. They also visit La Paz Malecon, known for its vibrant marine life and bustling city scene with cool bars and restaurants.
The adventurous hosts also explore the beautiful islands of Los Islotes, which are part of the UNESCO biosphere reserves and home to sea lions. Their itinerary includes Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park, one of Mexico’s top diving destinations.
