Last Sunday, at the prestigious five-star venue Sir Stamford Plaza in Mascot, Sydney’s fashion elite gathered for the much-anticipated Sydney’s Best Dressed 2024. The glamorous event, which kicked off at 5 PM, was hosted by esteemed beauty queens Sheridan Mortlock, Miss Earth Air 2022, and Nikka Marcial, Mrs Universe Official 2023.
Founded by Maryrose Salubre, CEO of MS Entertainment Network, Sydney’s Best Dressed is a hallmark event produced by MS Entertainment Network that honours distinguished men and women for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the fashion industry. Each year, this illustrious event celebrates stylish individuals, giving them the opportunity to showcase their fashion flair on the runway. Over the years, the event has expanded to include a variety of categories, culminating in the annual Sydney’s Best Dressed Gala Awards Night.
This year’s awardees exemplified the pinnacle of style and grace, each leaving a lasting impression on the audience. Among the honourees, Chloe Lofthouse, Maria Hall, Serena Peralta, Analieze Bella Newtown, and Ceres Ledesma were recognised as SBD Legends. Shahieda Idris, Rhodora Williams, and Elaine Mortel were inducted into the SBD Hall of Fame. Other notable awards included the Graceful Trendsetter Award to Anne Pearl Marie Nicklin, the Classic Elegance Award to Adele Kelly, the Golden Age Glamour Award to Prima West, and the Bold Fashionista Award to Lulu Jones. Eiselle Grace was honoured as a Distinguished Fashion Maven, Mathel Santos as the Fresh Face of Fashion, and Indira Setia Putri received the Timeless Elegance Award. Jan Herdman was named the Ageless Fashionista, Eliza Greenwood the Rising Star in Fashion, Rosita Miceli the Up-and-Coming Fashionista, Yanxia Chen the Diamond Fashionista, and Shirley Pulido Mejia the Best Dressed Trendsetter.
