Sydney Multicultural Fashion Exhibition 2025: A Celebration of Style, Culture, and Talent

The 2025 Sydney Multicultural Fashion Exhibition was a spectacular fusion of fashion, music, and cultural artistry — a true celebration of diversity, creativity, and community spirit. Held in collaboration between StarCentral Magazine, FEC, and RGEM Promotions and Management, the event brought together an extraordinary mix of designers, performers, and models from across Australia’s vibrant creative scene.

The night began with a Spring-themed opening act, featuring an enchanting song performance by Chloe Lofthouse, an emerging singer whose soulful voice and emotional delivery set the perfect tone for the show. Chloe’s heartfelt rendition resonated deeply with the audience, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere that carried through the rest of the evening.

Adding a burst of rhythm and cultural pride, the FEC Dance Performance by Saltik electrified the stage. This Filipino-Australian dance group is renowned for infusing energy, unity, and joy into every routine — and their performance at the exhibition was no exception.

The stage then belonged to Desa Santos, whose soulful voice filled the venue with charm and emotion. Desa, a celebrated performer within the Filipino-Australian community, once again proved why she is a beloved figure in multicultural entertainment.

The Designer Showcases were a true highlight of the evening. Kay Couture graced the runway with an exquisite collection that beautifully fused tradition and contemporary design, showcasing garments that were both elegant and empowering. Meanwhile, Anya Hurwood, an internationally trained designer with experience in Singapore and Slovenia, impressed with her bold and intricate creations. Her one-of-a-kind, hand-made pieces embodied strength, femininity, and modern sophistication.

The night’s musical performances continued with the talented Janie Kogan, a multi-skilled teen artist whose stage presence and passion for the performing arts captivated everyone in attendance. Dancer Cel Brooke followed, radiating energy through her dynamic Zumba-inspired routine that had the crowd clapping and moving along.

One of the most anticipated segments, the Kings & Queens Parade, brought elegance and pageantry to the runway. The parade celebrated confidence, culture, and achievement, featuring a spectacular lineup of beauty queens, kings, and pageant titleholders who showcased grace and charisma while representing their diverse backgrounds.

The event closed with a creative twist — Models in Halloween Theme, an extraordinary showcase that merged fashion with fantasy. Models strutted the runway in bold, theatrical ensembles that blended haute couture with a spooky flair, ending the night on a high note filled with applause and excitement.
