ASAP XP Australia Delivers a Spectacular Celebration of Filipino Entertainment, Music and Pride in Sydney

One of the evening’s most heartwarming moments belonged to Jhong Hilario and his adorable daughter Sarina, whose appearance together sent the Sydney audience into an absolute frenzy. Adding to the evening’s entertainment was one of the funniest segments of the entire production—a hilarious parody introducing IF4, a playful reimagining of the legendary Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden. Hosted with perfect comedic timing by Melai Cantiveros, the imaginary Philippine adaptation featured Robi Domingo as Hua Ze Lei, Donny Pangilinan as Dao Ming Si, Darren Espanto as Xi Men, and Kyle Echarri as Mei Zuo, while Melai herself hilariously portrayed the beloved heroine Shan Cai. The audience erupted with laughter throughout the skit, proving once again that ASAP’s unique blend of music, comedy and variety remains one of its greatest strengths.

However, perhaps no performance carried greater emotional significance than that of Anne Curtis.

Making her first-ever performance in Australia, the country where she was born and spent part of her childhood, Anne’s return was far more than another celebrity appearance—it was a heartfelt homecoming.
