The vibrant spirit of the Philippines returns to Sydney this October as the 36th Grand Philippine Fiesta Kultura brings together Filipino culture, music, entertainment and community in one spectacular day of celebration.
Taking place on Sunday, 4 October 2026, at Fairfield Showground in Prairiewood, the festival promises a full day of cultural showcases, live performances and family entertainment, running from 9am until 9pm.
Leading this year’s entertainment lineup are two familiar faces from Philippine television — Allan K and Ian Red, bringing the comedy, energy and variety-show spirit of Eat Bulaga! to Sydney audiences.
Allan K
A veteran of Philippine entertainment, Allan K has built a celebrated career as a comedian, television host, singer and live entertainer. Known for his distinctive comic timing and larger-than-life personality, he has been a familiar face on Philippine variety television for decades. His long association with Eat Bulaga! has made him one of the show’s most recognisable entertainers, while his work in comedy and live entertainment has helped establish him as one of the Philippines’ enduring comedy personalities.
Ian Red
Representing the newer generation of Philippine television entertainers is Ian Red, a host, performer and actor who has become a familiar presence on Eat Bulaga!. Working alongside some of the Philippines’ most established television personalities, Ian brings a youthful energy to the show’s variety format. His television credits also include acting work, demonstrating his versatility across hosting, comedy and performance. Current Eat Bulaga! credits identify him as one of the show’s hosts.
The Singing Queens
Adding musical glamour to the festival will be The Singing Queens, the resident all-female vocal group of Eat Bulaga!. Formed in 2023 following the show’s Sing Eat singing competition, the five singers have become known for their polished group performances and powerful vocals, regularly appearing in production numbers alongside some of the Philippines’ respected singers and bands. Their repertoire and versatility make them a perfect addition to a festival celebrating Filipino music and entertainment.
The Clones
Also taking the stage are The Clones, the talented performers associated with Eat Bulaga!‘s “Ka-Voice of the Stars” concept. Rather than simply performing covers, the Clones showcase their ability to recreate the distinctive voices and styles of legendary Filipino and international recording artists.
Their appearance promises a nostalgic and entertaining musical experience for audiences who enjoy hearing some of the world’s most recognisable voices brought to life on stage.
Celebrating Filipino Pride in Sydney
With its combination of comedy, music, cultural performances and community festivities, the 36th Grand Philippine Fiesta Kultura is set to be more than just an entertainment event. It is a celebration of Filipino heritage and the strong Filipino-Australian community that continues to preserve, share and showcase Philippine culture in Australia.
