The countdown is officially on, with just three days to go until the 36th Grand Philippine Fiesta Kultura transforms Fairfield Showground in Prairiewood into a vibrant celebration of Filipino culture, music, entertainment, heritage and community.
Taking place on Sunday, 4 October 2026, the much-anticipated festival will run from 9am to 9pm, bringing Filipino-Australian families, friends and communities together for a full day of cultural showcases, live performances and entertainment.
With only three days remaining, excitement is building for what promises to be a major celebration of Filipino pride in Sydney.
The Grand Philippine Fiesta Kultura continues a long-standing tradition of bringing the Filipino community together through culture and entertainment. This year’s event will showcase the diversity and vibrancy of Filipino heritage while creating a space for families and the wider community to celebrate together.
A major highlight of the 2026 programme will be the Miss Philippines-Australia 2026 coronation, with nine finalists from New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory preparing to take the stage as they compete for the coveted title.
The pageant will form part of the broader Fiesta Kultura celebrations, adding glamour and pageantry to an already packed day of Filipino entertainment.
The nine finalists come from diverse professional and personal backgrounds, including healthcare, law, politics, hospitality, government, education and the creative industries. Their individual journeys reflect different experiences of Filipino-Australian life, while their participation highlights the importance of heritage, community and representation.
For the finalists, Sunday will mark the culmination of months of preparation and the opportunity to share their stories, aspirations and connection to Filipino culture with a large community audience.
However, the excitement surrounding the Fiesta Kultura extends well beyond the pageant stage.
Sydney audiences will also have the opportunity to experience an impressive entertainment lineup featuring familiar personalities from Philippine television.
Leading the entertainment programme is Allan K, the veteran comedian, television host, singer and live entertainer recognised for his decades-long career in Philippine variety entertainment. His long association with Eat Bulaga! has made him one of the programme’s familiar personalities, and his appearance is expected to bring plenty of comedy and variety-show energy to the Sydney festival.
Joining him is Ian Red, a host, performer and actor associated with Eat Bulaga!. Representing a newer generation of Philippine television entertainers, Ian brings a youthful presence and experience across hosting, acting and live performance.
Music will also take centre stage, with The Singing Queens bringing their powerful vocals and polished group performances to the festival. The all-female vocal group was formed in 2023 following the Sing Eat singing competition and has since become a familiar part of Eat Bulaga! productions.
Adding another unique musical experience will be The Clones, performers associated with the Eat Bulaga! “Ka-Voice of the Stars” concept. Known for recreating the distinctive voices and styles of recognised Filipino and international recording artists, their performance promises to add a nostalgic and entertaining element to the day’s programme.
Together, the entertainment lineup reflects the spirit of Fiesta Kultura — bringing together music, comedy, performance and Filipino popular culture in one major community celebration.
For Filipino-Australians, events such as the Grand Philippine Fiesta Kultura provide an opportunity to celebrate traditions and cultural identity while sharing Filipino heritage with younger generations and the broader Australian community.
The festival is expected to attract families and members of the Filipino community from across Sydney, creating a space where people can reconnect with their roots, enjoy Filipino entertainment and celebrate the strength of the Filipino-Australian community.
At the heart of the celebration is the spirit of community.
From the cultural performances and entertainment to the pageantry and shared experiences, the 36th Grand Philippine Fiesta Kultura is designed to bring people together in celebration of Filipino identity.
And with just three days to go, the anticipation is reaching its peak.
On Sunday, Fairfield Showground will become a meeting place for culture, entertainment and community as Filipino-Australians come together to celebrate one of the most significant Filipino cultural events on Sydney’s calendar.
