1. Pete Flude (UK)

Pete Flude hails from a musical family. He got his first taste of the limelight when he joined their local folk band called ‘Seraphina’. He later joined a blues/rock band called ‘Pure Greed’ which performed a mix of 60’s psychedelic rock and original songs in the early 2000’s all over Birmingham. He was part of a Madness tribute band that has performed all over England, he was also a part of a band called ‘Total Recall’ which is based in Wales as well as a funk touring band called ‘Beat Street International’ which has performed all over UK and has also toured Europe and Israel. He also had a stint performing on cruise ships in America whilst supporting ‘Hot Chocolate’ and ‘Bad manners’ along the way. In 2010 Pete moved to Perth where he performed with ‘E.T Funk’ on a tour of Western Australia. He continued to play all over Western Australia for two years supporting Daryl Braithwaite in Broome. During this time he managed to write songs such as ‘Simmer’, ‘The Guitar Man’ and ‘The Mind Reader’. Last year he started performing with ‘DD Soul’ – a band comprising of current and ex students from WAAPA where he managed to snag two TV appearances. He is currently in the process of recording an album called ‘Ain’t too young to die’ and this is in collaboration with the singer ‘Chelsea Cullen’ which is due to be released this year. His new acoustic solo show is performed live with a loop pedal and you can expect exciting arrangements of modern and classical hits as well as songs from his new album. Pete has an organic and rhythmic playing style as well as an inspiring, soulful voice which should not be missed.

 3. Mark Thompson (UK)

 Mark Thompson2

Mark Thompson aka “Beauty” is a singer-songwriter and performance artist whose music is a marriage of twisted synth pop and catchy R&B. With an undeniably unique style and flair for writing insanely catchy hooks his dance floor destroyers and euphoric stompers are guaranteed to please and remain firmly stuck in people’s head. Piers Morgan described him as “Incredibly vibrant, sensational, and energetic”. Simon Cowell has described his audition as “one of the best auditions I’ve seen while travelling the country” and Amanda Holden has described him as “Amazing”. Beauty’s latest work is an album boasting flirtatious anthemic pop and hard hitting electro synths. It’s now available to download FREE via www.beautysmusic.co.uk

Brandon Davey has been learning, writing, playing and performing since he was just 6 years old. He is currently studying Engineering at the Victoria University but he spends much of his time playing music. He writes music for his band Mischievous Thom and they actually released their first EP back in 2009 whilst they were still in school. Using the money they made from their previous EP, they were able to produce an album with 15 original songs – it was called “Kindness in Red” and they are now about to release their next 7 track EP. So far he has written over 40 original songs, he has written music for 2 short films, he has worked as a Musical Director for “Bellarine Jongluers” as well as performed in the stage show “The Drowsy Chaperone”.  His band also won “Best Street Musician” at the Apollo Bay Music Festival in 2009 an then they returned the following year and won the most popular category. He has done so much with his music so far but he feels that he has so much more to do.

  1. I have watched Brandon belt out a song in a noisy bar then sit down and play at the piano that turns heads and quiets punters. His original music is clever and inspiring and his covers are sung with respect. Brandon is the real deal and his music can be found on line. Google Brandon Davey or his band Mischievous Thom .

  2. Pete Flude is very talented, great voice and superb guitarist , his ability to engage an audience is second to none.
