Male Model of the Month for December 2013!

Most of us don’t expect to go to a nightclub and stumble upon a career! But that’s exactly what happened to Mitchell Connolly, StarCentral Magazine’s Male Model of the Month for December 2013. He was approached while he was enjoying himself on the dancefloor. Intrigued, Mitchell “…jumped straight into it and have been involved in multiple areas of the industry for over two years now.”

Already passionate about fitness, modeling has given Mitchell another avenue in which to pursue that passion. In fact, it enabled him to connect with Gabriel Felix, “…an international photographer who also specializes in sports science and massage, it is amazing working with him as we both have similar ideas…” Being a model has also given the 27-year old the opportunity to travel, meet new people and to be able to shoot in “…amazing locations…” – a side to the industry that he really enjoys. One stand-out experience has been recent stint on Australian singer, Ricki-Lee Coulter’s new music video, ‘Come And Get In Trouble With Me.’

A relative newcomer to the modeling world, the Bondi-based Australian has nevertheless learned a few valuable lessons including “…patience and humility…” and that being a model is “…a lot harder work than most people realise, flexing for hours on end, twisting your body into the right forms, working out hard for pump up before shots.”

Involving himself in a varied range of interests has allowed Mitchell to have a more well-balanced grasp on his career. He is an actor, a dancer, trains in various forms of martial arts and he is also currently studying to complete his degree in Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology. But for now, his focus is definitely on the performance industry. He is “…currently in preparation to compete in Hollywood next year at the world championships of performing arts in acting, modelling and dancing.”

Mitchell Connolly, possessing of that ideal combination of good looks, a fearless attitude and the solid support of family and friends, seems to have nothing else to look forward to but success upon success upon success.
