Brendan Fraser is poised to make a comeback, and he’s definitely coming in BIG.
A24 has recently released a photo for Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming drama “The Whale,” in which Fraser plays a man living with obesity struggling to connect with his 17-year-old daughter. Variety confirms that “The Whale” will have its world premiere at the 2022 Venice Film Festival.
Besides Fraser, “The Whale” also stars Sadie Sink, Hong Chau, Samantha Morton, and Ty Simpkins. “It’s gonna be like something you haven’t seen before,” Fraser revealed to Unilad last year about his role in “The Whale. “That’s really all I can tell you…The wardrobe and costume were extensive, seamless, and cumbersome. This is certainly far removed from anything I’ve ever done but not to be coy…I do know it’s going to make a lasting impression.”
