In Marvel Studios’ “The Marvels,” Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the oppressive Kree and sought retribution against the Supreme Intelligence. However, unintended consequences emerge, burdening Carol with the responsibility of an unstable universe. Her mission leads her through an enigmatic wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary, intertwining her powers with those of Jersey City super-enthusiast Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. This unlikely trio must collaborate and learn to unite their efforts to rescue the universe as “The Marvels.”
The star-studded cast includes Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson. Nia DaCosta helms the directorial duties, while Kevin Feige serves as the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, and Matthew Jenkins are the executive producers. The screenplay is crafted by Nia DaCosta, Megan McDonnell, and Elissa Karasik.
