The hunt is back on—only this time, it’s animated.
20th Century Studios has officially unveiled the trailer and poster for its highly anticipated new film Predator: Killer of Killers, an original animated action-adventure set within the legendary Predator universe. The film will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on 6 June 2025.
A New Breed of Storytelling in the Predator Universe
Unlike previous Predator instalments, Killer of Killers takes a bold and artistic leap by presenting its story in animated form, delivering visceral action and stunning visuals while diving deep into a brutal anthology of warriors across time.
The plot follows three of the fiercest human warriors in history, each from a different era, all unknowingly stalked by the same relentless extraterrestrial hunter:
A Viking raider guiding her young son on a blood-soaked journey of revenge;
A ninja in feudal Japan, locked in a deadly battle with his Samurai brother over the fate of their clan;
And a WWII fighter pilot, investigating strange signals and alien sightings threatening the Allied forces.
Though each warrior is deadly in their own right, they are no match for the ultimate predator—a killer of killers—making them the prey in this high-stakes, time-spanning showdown.
Creative Powerhouse Behind the Film
Predator: Killer of Killers is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for revitalising the franchise with Prey (2022), and co-directed by Josh Wassung of the acclaimed animation studio The Third Floor. The film features the voice talents of Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa, Rick Gonzalez, and sci-fi legend Michael Biehn.
The script is penned by Micho Robert Rutare, with story credits shared between Rutare and Trachtenberg, based on the iconic characters originally created by Jim Thomas and John Thomas.
The production team includes heavy-hitters such as John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, and Ben Rosenblatt, with executive producers Lawrence Gordon, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas, and Stefan Grube ensuring the legacy of the Predator saga is in capable hands.
Coming Exclusively to Disney+
As the streaming home for some of the most iconic franchises in film history, Disney+ will premiere Predator: Killer of Killers on 6 June 2025.
