If you’re a fan of ghost tours then you definitely need to visit this hotel.
The Stanley Hotel, in Estes Park, Colorado, holds its own ghost tours – it’s more than 100 years old and everyone who’s heard of the hotel has been talking about its spooky atmosphere since day one. Back in 1980, Stephen King bravely (or stupidly) stayed at the Stanley Hotel and had terrifying nightmares after he realized that his family was the only people staying in the entire 142-rooms! This experience inspired “The Shining” and the rest you can say is history.
