Warner Bros. Pictures has finally released the teaser trailer for Crazy Rich Asians just ahead of the first full trailer next week, and it’s definitely a movie to watch out for.
The story revolves around Chinese-American economics professor Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) as she accompanies her longtime boyfriend and fellow professor, Nick Young (Henry Golding), to his best friend’s wedding in Singapore. Chu eventually finds out that Young is not just the heir to a massive fortune but also one of the country’s most sought-after bachelors.
Crazy Rich Asians boast an international cast of stars, led by Constance Wu (Fresh Off the Boat) and newcomer Henry Golding. The film also stars Gemma Chan (Humans), Lisa Lu (2012), Awkwafina (upcoming Ocean’s 8, Neighbors 2), Ken Jeong (the Hangover films), Michelle Yeoh, Sonoya Mizuno (La La Land), Chris Pang (Marco Polo), Jimmy O. Yang (Silicon Valley), comedian Ronny Chieng (The Daily Show), Remi Hii (Marco Polo), and Nico Santos (Superstore).
