Glamour got Fashion historian Raissa Bretaña to fact check the historical accuracy of the costumes in the 1997 blockbuster Titanic to determine just how accurate they truly are.
She analyzed Rose Dewitt Bukater’s white suit and dinner dresses and looked at every layer of historical dress from the 1910’s high society – from undergarments through to corset as well as her shoes and jewelry.
