Emily Ratajkowski may have supermodel good looks, but she is struggling with the global pandemic lockdown the same as everyone else.
She recently opened up about her struggles to Vogue’s A Zoom Of One’s Own video series while she’s self-isolating in her New York with her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard.. Here’s what she said: “For me, it’s more of an emotional and mental battle of keeping my spirits up and staying busy.”
She also provided some tips for those people who are also struggling to adjust to life in lockdown. She said “Listen to your body and stop pressuring yourself. Please… You’ll be amazed at how much little rituals of self-care can help lift your mood.”
She further revealed that while she’s in lockdown, she’s actually trying to focus on “the social justice space.” She said: “I’m planning on doing a lot more in the social justice space because that’s so important right now, but also because Bernie (US Senator Bernie Sanders) dropped out, I also need some sort of hope,” She further commented; “And advocating for people who don’t have advocates in these situations feels good.”
