At just 20 years old, Capri Everitt has already achieved more than most artists could dream of in a lifetime—yet she’s only getting started.

With over 1.3 million followers across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, Capri’s music resonates across borders and generations. Her single “Not Your Toy” took the internet by storm, and her recent dance-pop anthem “Arcade” didn’t just capture ears—it climbed the Top 20 of the Billboard Electronic/Dance charts and snagged the #2 spot on the iTunes charts. Her sound is a magnetic blend of high-energy beats, empowering lyrics, and pure vocal strength.

But Capri isn’t just a viral sensation—she’s also a Guinness World Record-holder. Her globe-spanning initiative, “Around the World in 80 Anthems,” saw her travel to 80 countries, singing each nation’s national anthem in its native language. The mission? To raise awareness and funds for SOS Children’s Villages, a cause close to her heart. This extraordinary journey not only showcased her linguistic talent and vocal range but also her deep-rooted passion for children’s rights and global unity.

A three-time TEDx speaker/singer, Capri continues to use her platform not only for artistic expression but also for advocacy. Whether she’s speaking on stage or performing for thousands, her message remains clear: music has the power to bring people together and inspire change.

Now based in Los Angeles, Capri is diving headfirst into her next era—writing, recording, and preparing to tour while continuing to expand her musical footprint. With millions of streams across Spotify, TikTok, and YouTube, she’s not only an artist to watch but a leader in Gen Z’s wave of socially conscious, genre-bending talent.

With her bold voice, viral energy, and global heart, Capri Everitt is not just creating music—she’s creating a movement.

In an exclusive interview with StarCentral Magazine, the Canadian-born, LA-based singer, songwriter, and social media phenomenon opens up about her musical journey, viral success, and her mission to make the world a better place—one anthem, one song, and one voice at a time.

You’ve achieved so much at just 20 years old! What inspired you to start singing and songwriting?

I grew up in a music-loving household, so it was always a big part of my life. I started playing piano and writing little songs at 5, and I kinda just knew that’s what I wanted to do.

Your song Arcade hit the Top 20 on the Billboard Dance charts! How did it feel to see your music reach such a huge audience?

Honestly, the billboard moment was so crazy to me, as that was the first “electronic music” song I had ever tried writing, so I didn’t have crazy expectations for it. But seeing it reach an audience like that motivated me to keep going along this path.

Your music video for Not Your Toy went viral—what was the inspiration behind that song, and did you expect it to blow up the way it did?

It was pretty surreal to achieve that kind of success that early into my career, as at that point, I knew nothing about how to market music, what playlisting was, and whatnot. It was a hugely motivating moment as it reaffirmed my belief that this was my path.

You traveled to 80 countries, singing national anthems to raise awareness for SOS Children’s Villages. What was the most memorable moment from that journey?

I had so many memorable moments on the journey that narrowing them down is hard. Still, I would honestly say being able to stay at the SOS Villages in all of those different countries was so amazing, as it really allowed me to gain a different perspective on life in third-world countries and how privileged we are to live in such an amazing place here in North America.

You’ve spoken at multiple TEDx events. What message do you hope to share with young people through your speeches?

I feel like there aren’t too many young voices in communities like the public speaking and TED Talk space, and I wanted to make my message easily digestible for people my age. I wanted to share the message that it is important to stand up for what you believe in, especially in this day and age, where that is sometimes discouraged.

You have over 1.3 million followers across your platforms! How do you stay connected with your fans, and what do you love most about sharing your journey online?

I love being active and sharing my life on social media. It has been a long journey for me in the entertainment space, and having people support me every day on my social media means the world to me.

Many young artists look up to you. What advice would you give to aspiring musicians trying to build their careers in today’s digital world?

My biggest piece of advice to any young aspiring creative would be to follow what they believe in and stick to their guns. Many people, especially at the beginning of my journey in music, tried to get me to be someone I wasn’t, and I wanted to succeed so badly that I often relented and did what they wanted me to anyway. Looking back on those business decisions, songs I released, and content I put out, I realize how inauthentic it was to me.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

I would love to collaborate with Timbaland as I’ve always been obsessed with the sound he was able to create that shaped the pop/R&B space in the early 2000s.

What’s next for you? Can fans expect new music, tours, or exciting projects in the near future?

I actually have a new song set to release April 17th called “love to hate you” and I can’t wait to see how people like the beginning of this new wave of music.
