Sexiest Woman of the Month for July 2013!

It was 5 years ago when modeling captivated Dannielle Bonner, StarCentral Magazine’s Sexiest Woman of the Month for July 2013.  A combined photoshoot with a friend meant for fun (“…I absolutely loved it …) resulted in what is turning out to be a lifelong passion.

5 years have passed since that fateful day and Dannielle still cannot find any downside to her chosen profession.  “…I love being able to meet new people and work with many talented people. I love being in front of the camera, this is where I feel so comfortable and relaxed. It’s the only time I stop thinking about everything and focus on the present…”  She looks back at her fledgling days and realizes how much she has grown since that first shoot, and how much she is still evolving.  “…I’ve grown so much in my modeling…with every shoot I do I feel I’m learning all the time…”

Originally from the UK and now based in Australia, Dannielle has met her fair share of interesting individuals (“…amazing photographers, which have helped me create such a great portfolio which I am proud of…”) and has had many memorable experiences.  One experience that has left an indelible mark on the 26-year old was an event she took part in called ‘Strut For Soldiers’.  Organised by a group of young women from Birmingham University, it was a fashion show showcasing military trends that raised awareness and money for the organization, ‘Help For Heroes.’  “…As my brother was a brave soldier in The British Army, this event meant a lot to me. The event was held on my brother’s anniversary, another main reason why this event is so memorable…not only did I feel a massive sense of pride…when I walked the stage, but meeting so many people that felt so strongly about our heroes made me even more proud of being a part of something special.”

The down-to-earth British beauty has learned “…to not take everything too seriously…” during her time as a model.  Knowing how easily one’s self-esteem can take a battering while working in the industry, Dannielle cannot emphasise enough how important it is to “…have fun!” “…I think it is very important to stay positive and always be proud of who you are. It’s not always about what you look like, it’s about what’s on the inside that counts. It’s about your beauty within! This will always, always shine through…”

The full support of her family has been invaluable to Dannielle during her career especially that of her mother, whose constant encouragement from the beginning has meant that “…I am still doing what I love five years later!” With that support and her own talent and drive, Dannielle will no doubt grace many a catwalk or a magazine page for many more years to come!
