StarCentral Magazine’s Female Model of the Month for January 2014 is Reni Spasenovska. Modeling has been a part of Reni’s life since she was a child. Her parents channelled their young daughter’s love for attention, boundless energy and look (she had these “big, blue eyes”) into child modelling competitions. The young girl developed a love for the art form and has been in the limelight ever since. She has always loved the experience of working with different kinds of people and projects. She has been involved in numerous fashion shows, runway, photoshoots, even music videos. As she says, “When I am doing it (modelling), I feel it was something I was meant to do.”
Being in the entertainment industry also has its downside. For Reni, the amount of competition and pressure inherent in the industry is quite challenging. But because of her unique look and passion for modelling, sure, there is no one who can stop her. She has been surrounded by the best designers, artists, and models and for her, they are all fun to be with. Also, being in this industry, Reni strongly believes that there is no need to take off her clothes just to be noticed. By being herself, by making people see the real her, those are the most important things.
Even with all her garnered fame, Reni has managed to stay grounded. She largely credits her family and her own desire to stay true to who she is for this. Modelling is very “on the go” sort of job and her supportive family is always there for her whether during rehearsals or just practicing her ‘walk’ up and down the hallway. One can truly be successful through the support and help of all the people who love her.
When asked about her future plans, she said that she is just taking everything one day at a time. Definitely, no one knows what tomorrow brings, but as she sees her future, she dreams of being able to travel and being recognised not only as an international model but as a business woman as well. “I really want to help others in need so volunteering is definitely on my “to do list” and maybe even designing my own clothing, we’ll see what happens…”
