Sexiest Woman of the Month for June 2014

Creative, determined and stubborn, the then-teenaged, Ukrainian born, Marysia Sansiprian Peres (StarCentral Magazine’s Sexiest Woman of the Month for June 2014) was interested and engaged in many different creative fields which also included modeling. One day, she picked up the phone and dialed Kiev City’s information centre and asked for all the local modeling agencies’ numbers. She visited the majority of them and after doing some audition time, started booking jobs. After a year, at age 16, she received her first overseas contract. It was just right for her: she loved the possibility of traveling abroad, learning new languages and to experience new cultures while doing the things she enjoyed.

For the talented Marysia (she also has a background in singing, acting and dance), modeling is about the control of your body and face, about finding the right light, the right poses for showcasing the designs you wear, and being able to project and transmit the style and feeling that a publication or brand wants. It is an art of transformation and visual delight. Despite the constant pressure to compete and the endless wait in casting calls, she thrives in the spotlight but considers it important to maintain a full life by always having other interests outside of modeling.

The Barcelona-based beauty is a certified world traveler; having had memorable experiences working in Japan (she loves the country and the people). Recently, she had a truly amazing experience playing the role of Inspector Selina Tucker in the UK film, “Riding the Tiger”. She enjoyed the chance to work with a talented cast and crew.

Marysia is people-centered, as this is apparent in her having close, long-term friendships as well as the respect and honor she gives to all the people she works with. There have been many lessons in her career – one of the most important of these is never losing faith in your abilities. There are as many opinions as there are people, and giving up after a few rejections means you are not cut out for the industry. She stresses the importance of enjoying what you do, when it starts becoming routine it will lose its magic and the camera is sure to notice it.

Beauty comes from the inside. There are many beautiful women in the world, but it doesn’t mean a ticket to a successful modeling career for them. The 24-year old knows that there is something extra, something special that makes you stand out. True beauty, for her, means factoring in all the imperfections. Beauty, too, has a spiritual dimension. She quotes Audrey Hepburn, an actress she loves and is her all-time favorite: “For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”

Her mother is her closest supporter and fan, and, as a matter of fact, her first photographer. She has a supportive boyfriend who gives her an honest opinion and knows how to motivate her in difficult moments. Marysia (who graduated from Staffordshire University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing) plans on moving forward and continue travelling and working in film and fashion. She has some exciting international projects in line, more opportunities to let her talents develop and grow. But she also wants to have a big, happy family, considering that even the most successful career loses value if she does not have loved ones to share it with.
