Fall once; stand up twice, an old adage that truly reflects a source of inspiration in a modelling industry which Rachel Williams described as a world of hundredfold no’s and only one yes. Perhaps, she only needs one affirmation of her talent and grace to turn her life into a big studio of accomplished dreams. Rachel’s relentless motivation and perseverance caught the attention of StarCentral Magazine and now she is StarCentral’s Sexiest Woman of the Month for the Month of November 2014.
Rachel who goes by the stage name, Rachel Ann is a British model who currently lives in Bristol. Before etching a glamorous mark in modelling, she was first a successful dancer with a BTEC Diploma in Dance and Performing Arts. Rachel also had a memorable experience at Move It London but her dancing has not opened doors of modelling opportunities. Powerfully though, it equipped her with qualities that a good model should have especially in a competitive industry where rejection predominantly exists.
With all the qualities she developed on her own, Rachel, who was already ripe for the picking was discovered through various website exposures and matched with declared desires by circulating her model portfolio around different agencies. A creative mind trapped in an artistic persona, Rachel shrugs off the hard work as she strives for her dreams. In her most saccharine voice, Rachel expresses that she loves working around creative people, being made up and posing in front of the camera.
“When someone says they don’t like your look, walk away with your head held high and move on because the next person you see might love your look.” Her lesson echoes a confident heart that turns constructive criticism into a springboard that will catapult her into the zenith of success. You might think that her modelling world is wholly moulded with the realisation of her dream but the truth of the matter is that, her family and friends who unflinchingly support and push her are the real world that strengthens her aspiration as a model.
Rachel’s dedication to her craft is astounding. She is grateful for everyone who contributed to her journey and thoughtfully recalls interesting people she met along the way. During the interview, she shares that her first Photographer, Roger Charles, tremendously lifted her up for the modelling world to embrace her, not to mention his brilliant character that made her relaxed on her initial pictorial day.
In the future, Rachel plans to work even harder as she hopes to be widely featured in different glamour magazines. She also sees herself as a wanderlust who gallivants around the world.
