Last Saturday’s fashion show showcasing size 12 to 28 models was not one to miss.
Set in the elegant Novotel Sydney Norwest, more than 20 plus-size models strutted their stuff in front of more than 100 VIP guests celebrating a woman’s curves, style and beautiful full-figure.
The event is the brainchild of Failepou Peni and her collection showcased clothes that are tailored for bigger women. Her own new label (‘Grace on Lepou’) is designed for the bigger figure and her vision is for the fashion industry to embrace fuller women.
Other designers who were showcased on the night were Island TKM – (Iki Haangana), ACW – (Anton Conway Wye), Jo’Li – (Danitta Fretton), MKG – (Martin Gray), JMP – (Mystic).
