The National Selections for Miss Grand Australia 2017 is officially underway providing prospective beauty queens the opportunity to hopefully represent Australia on the international stage in Hanoi, Vietnam this October 2017.
Set against the backdrop of Latin Dance House situated in Alexandria, the National Selections brought together applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experience ranging from applicants with little or no experience to experienced applicants with several years of pageant experience under their belt as well as returning applicants from last year. Fabulously facilitated by none other than Dani Fitch – the National Director of Miss Grand Australia and reigning Miss Grand Australia, the applicants showcased various looks ranging from cocktail, swimwear and evening wear. Some of the judges included Miss Tourism Global Tasha Ross, Miss Grand International 2015 Claire Elizabeth Parker, model and businesswoman Kate Johnson, Miss Earth Fiji 2015 Shyla Angela and StarCentral Magazine’s managing Director Mike Ilagan. All the judges carefully analysed looks and personality, then the various walks as the National selections unfolded.
