newtown

What: Whether you’re local or a tourist, Newtown feels like home. Their festival welcomes everyone into their world and shows off what’s so special about their suburb. Newtown Festival is produced by Newtown Neighbourhood Centre (NNC) as its major fundraiser, and they are proud to be celebrating Newtown Festival’s 40th year this year! The Festival generates funds and awareness to enable the Centre to provide frontline services for those doing it most tough in the Inner West.

The 2018 Festival will once again feature music, Eco Village, Better Read Than Dead Writers Tent, Kids Zone, Sassy Treats Dog Show and close to 300 stalls selling food, beverages, arts and crafts, fashion, bespoke products and more!

Where: Camperdown Memorial Rest Park (Bound by Australia St, Lennox St, Church St and Federation Rd, Newtown, Sydney, Australia 2042)

When: Sunday, November 11, 2018, at 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Tickets: Entry to the festival is an expected contribution of $5.00 per person (cash or pay pass at entry).
