9 News confirms that a food and beverage operator has tested positive to Covid-19 after going to work at the Sydney Opera House while working during the 2021 AACTA Awards.
Australian Health authorities are perturbed and are urging caution because they feel that the festive season celebrations are driving the numbers higher in COVID-19 cases.
‘The transmission in these types of settings is contributing to the increase in cases in NSW,’ Dr. Jeremy McAnulty said last Friday.
‘We urge people not to attend any of these social functions or venues if you have any symptoms at all, even if mild.’
