First-Ever Grand Multicultural Entertainment Festival 2024: A Vibrant Celebration of Fashion, Pageantry, and Multiculturalism

The first-ever Grand Multicultural Entertainment Festival 2024 concluded on August 31, 2024, with a spectacular day of celebration, fashion, pageantry, and a vibrant display of multiculturalism. Held over the weekend, this groundbreaking event brought together an incredible array of talents, showcasing the diversity that makes Australia so unique.

The festival featured four main competitions: the Cover ModelQuest 2024 for male, female, Mrs./Ms., and kids, as well as the Slay Queen International competition. Each competition brought its own flair and excitement, highlighting the diverse talents and cultures within the community. Organised by StarCentral Magazine, Flagcom Group, and RGEM Promotions & Management, the event was designed to unite the community in celebration of its rich cultural tapestry. These organisations are committed to promoting cultural diversity and fostering community engagement, and the festival was a perfect reflection of that mission.

The judging panel featured some of the most respected names in the industry. Kymberlee Street, Miss Universe Philippines Australia; Selina McCloskey, Miss International Australia 2024; and Maryrose Salubre, CEO of MS Entertainment Network, brought their expertise to the Cover ModelQuest. Robbie Canner, Ms. World Universal Elite 2020/21, and Sue Turner, CEO of Global Elite Media Group, joined the judging ranks alongside Keisha Ann Nicole Tungol, Miss Earth Australia Air 2024; Nikka Marcial, Mrs. Universe Official 2023; Chantelle Patrice O’Donohoe, the winner at the ultimate cover girl search held by GEQ; Olan Roque, Founding Chairman of One Designers Club (ODC); and René Rivas, a multi-award-winning, iconic fashion designer. Their presence added prestige to the competitions, as they evaluated the contestants based on their poise, creativity, and presentation.

The event also featured the Queens Grand Parade, a highlight that showcased the reigning beauty queens from various pageant systems, parading their crowns and titles in a show of grace and elegance. This grand display was a testament to the diversity and talent within the pageant community, bringing together representatives from all walks of life.

Winners of the Competitions

The Slay Queen International competition celebrated boldness and beauty in all its forms. Erin won the Best in Theme Costume, Gabby took home Best in Beach Wear, while Asia dazzled in the Formal Wear category. Jasmine received the Designer’s Choice Award for her unique style and flair. Asia was named First Runner-up, and Gabby was crowned the Ultimate Winner 2024.

In the Mr. Gino-o Male Model Search, Eman won Best in Theme Costume, Robert took the title for Best in Beach Wear, and Jupiter impressed with the Best in Formal Wear. Ram was recognised with the Designer’s Choice Award, while Robert was named the First Runner-up. Ultimately, Eman was crowned Mr. Gino-o’s Ultimate Male Model Winner 2024.

The Cover ModelQuest for the Mrs./Ms. category saw fierce competition. Victoria won Best in Theme Costume, Putri shone in the Beach Wear category, and Neha took Best in Formal Wear. Fleur captured the Designer’s Choice Award and was also named First Runner-up, while Victoria ultimately claimed the title of Mrs. Model of the Year.

The Kids Cover ModelQuest was equally exciting. Zara captivated the judges with the Best in Theme Costume, Solomia won Best in Beach Wear, and Paisley stood out in the Best in Formal Wear. Arabella was the People’s Choice Award winner, Chloe was honoured as the Brand Ambassador of the Year, Harriet received the Rising Star Award, and Roseanna was awarded the Shining Star Award. Mikayla’s performance earned her the Stage Presence Award. Arabella secured the position of Second Runner-up, Chloe was named First Runner-up, and Zara took home the coveted title of Little Miss Model of the Year.

Finally, the Cover ModelQuest 2024 showcased incredible talent. Syafira was awarded Best in Theme Costume, Edina won Best in Beach Wear, and Emmy dazzled in Formal Wear. Chloe was the recipient of the Designer’s Choice Award. Syafira secured the Second Runner-up position, Chloe was named First Runner-up, and Emmy was crowned the Ultimate Cover Girl 2024.
