Just outside the Staples Center, Kobe Bryant fans paid tribute to their basketball hero – understandably, some fans weren’t so thrilled that the 2020 Grammys were even continuing at all. Little did they know that Kobe Bryant got his due respect behind closed doors.
2020 Grammys host Alicia Keys asked the audience to hold Kobe, Gianna and all the other victims in the helicopter crash in their thoughts, prayers, and spirits as their families mourned. Afterward, she brought out Boyz II Men and sang “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye” which reduced the audience to tears.
