1. Nathan

Nathan is an aspiring musician/producer who is currently studying Music Technology at Montana State University. At the age of 9 years old, Nathan picked up the violin for the first time and since then he has never set it down. After progressively getting better, he decided to give the instrument a twist. Nathan started playing songs that weren’t the typical classical pieces, but rather songs that you would hear on the radio. He wanted to relate to the younger crowd because he knew people would think it was cool for such a classical instrument to play such modern songs. After his sophomore year in high school, he started to record himself playing these songs and uploading them on YouTube – and it wasn’t long before the views started rolling in! At the age of 18, he’s already prospered in the music industry; he has been getting job offers as an artist/producer and has even made it onto iTunes.

4. Matt Hira

After playing the guitar and singing in a band, he thought that it would be a great idea to have complete creative control so he then started recording himself playing all the parts – and it worked so well for him! He now loves taking requests and turning the fun songs we hear on the radio into fancy String Quartet arrangements.

  3. Tera has worked extremely hard as a musician as well, and she always does her best to interact and help her fans. Not only is she incredibly talented at music, but the fact that she’s always friendly to those who enjoy listening to her music proves that she’s a wonderful person as well. 🙂 She also makes original songs in addition to making her own renditions of already existing pieces. I feel that Tera really deserves first place in this competition because she really is the definition of a true musician — she’s versatile in that she covers so many varieties of music, talented, super friendly, and an all-round amazing person. 🙂
